Galaxy SIII teaser

Another Samsung GT-I9300 Proto-type Photo leaked

Today, We have another Proto-type dummy of what is likely to be the Next Galaxy device I9300. As usual, the phone is camouflaged by being placed within a case but we still get a glimpse of some of the important bits. For starters, we see the arrangement of the buttons at the bottom of the display. For the first time, we are also seeing a Menu button there, along with the Back, Home and multitasking button. Samsung has changed the order of the keys again and placed it on the left unlike the Galaxy Nexus, which places it on the right.

As you probably know, It's still few weeks away from an official big stage unveiling from Samsung , but it looks like Samsung's next Galaxy S III has been leaked. Vietnamese site Tinhte, which has past form on these kind of things, has got it hands on the GT-I9300 -- purportedly the Galaxy S III if Samsung decides to follow its own naming convention. According to the specifications leaked, the phone houses a 4.6-inch display at 720 x 1184 resolution while a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor works on keeping the Ice Cream Sandwich OS running smoothly. Other hardware include 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera, 16GB of storage plus microSD capability, etc. Based on Tinhte, The 2050mAh battery will arrive with NFC capabilities baked in, just like the samsung Galaxy Nexus before it. There's an iffy plastic rim surrounding to the whole device that has apparently been added not to ruin the surprise of how the device looks ahead of its official launch. While we've seen some similar hardware leaks already, this video makes a very strong case for it being the real deal. Take a look for yourself right after the break, alongside a picture of the back. Update: It looks engadget source link has disappeared and the video has now gone private. Fortunately, engadget was able to grab a copy before it was removed. http://droidvideos.com/samsung-galaxy-iii-leaked-tinhte-vn/ Source: engadget

Quad-core Samsung Galaxy S III will get Superlative Scores in Benchmarks

Samsung using different processors for the same phone in different regions. Sources say that the Samsung "Galaxy S III", or the Next GALAXY that which is coming by May 3, will have a "Global" version, which will be the one with the quad-core processor, most likely the Exynos 4412. That probably means there might be US carrier versions with Snapdragon, but let is not get ahead, May 3 is just around the corner. "As we have seen with Qualcomm S4, [quad-core] is not automatically better than a dual-core", the source added, as for users who are worried about performance. He also said, " to expect superlative benchmark performance" from the quad-core Galaxy S III. Given that last year Exynos can hold clock for clock with the new Snapdragon S4, we would not be very surprised if 4412 blows every other Android silicon out of the water.

The BOMB is coming!

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is going to be presented in London on the Mai 3rd 2012 "Come and meet the next Galaxy"! Rumours say that in a Visa Commecial it might show the S3, but clearly it's the S2! Samsung has just sent out an invitation, stating that the “next Galaxy smartphone ’ will be announced on May the 3rd. Probably it will be the Galaxy S III. Still there is remarkably little known about the successor of the S II. The announcement event for the new Galaxy smartphone is scheduled for Thursday 3 May in London and falls under the term “Samsung Mobile Unpacked”. Under that name they announced the Nexus Galaxy, Galaxy S II and Galaxy S. The invitation shows no device, but only a few colored spots and if you closely at the blue spot you can see some kind of metal finish. Well 3 May is very close and there is still little knowm about this beast, but there were alot of rumors. According a few rumors the successor of the Galaxy S II will get a screen wich will be about 4.7″ with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The processor would be Samsungs own Exynos 4412, a quad-core SOC, whose a cortex-A9 processor and each core clocked at 1.5 GHz. The phone would run on Android 4.0 and we hope that Samsung did not skin the TouchWiz to much. Like the HTC S One, the housing of the phone will be made of ceramic. The Galaxy S II is the most successful smartphone that Samsung has releasedso far .Worldwide there were twenty million devices sold since its release, and now the Galaxy SIII is the most anticipated Android phone according the rumors it is the most pre-ordered phone.
